Image
MEDICAL MARIJUANA CARDS FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS Now that Proposition 64 has legalized recreational marijuana use in California, you might think this is the end of medical marijuana. Think again. The initiative is laced with restrictions, and a closer look reveals several major benefits of getting a medical marijuana card in 2018. In fact, now’s the best time to get one. Here’s why. No waiting Although adults can already legally   buy marijuana , they won’t have anywhere to purchase it until January, though that seems unlikely. From setting up a licensing system to establishing regulations, state officials have their work cut out for them. A medical cannabis card before 2018 will ensure you get marijuana today. Lower age requirement While you have to be at least 18 to get an MMJ   prescription , the minimum age for  using   cannabis recreationally is 21 . If you’re between these ages, a medicinal marijuana card is your only option. Greater dispensary...

Image
As NY expands medical marijuana program, few doctors in Rochester area are able to prescribe The state is expanding the list of qualifying illnesses for medical marijuana. This means more people may be interested in trying it. But, the public list of doctors willing to prescribe it locally isn't exactly long. The state maintains a website that shows which practitioners are certified to prescribe medical marijuana. In Monroe County, there are eight on that site compared to Erie and Onondaga Counties, which both have more than 25 providers. Matt Hellaby has been living with PTSD. "There are a lot of people suffering," he says. He's been interested in medical marijuana for months. He wasn't eligible until the state recently added PTSD to the list of qualifying conditions. "I was waiting, I didn...

WHERE IS MARIJUANA LEGAL? PERU THE LATEST COUNTRY TO LEGALIZE

Image
WHERE IS MARIJUANA LEGAL? PERU THE LATEST COUNTRY TO LEGALIZE Newsweek The president of Peru signed a bill on Thursday legalizing medical marijuana across the country, a historic move that came a few weeks after the Peruvian Congress voted to approve it. The legalization allows possession, sale, and transport of cannabis for medical purposes, but it’s still illegal to cultivate the plant. The government will develop a list of official importers or growers who are authorized to supply the nation’s new medical marijuana patients, who will be given prescriptions for conditions like Parkinson’s, cancer, epilepsy or other chronic or terminal illnesses. Peru is the latest Latin American nation to legalize marijuana in some form, but where else is cannabis legal? In many countries, marijuana is only legal on a strict basis. In Australia, Greece, Croatia, Israel, Poland, Mexico, Finland, Turkey, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Macedonia and Italy, consumers need prescriptions ...

Resources are scarce - a consequence of the harsh environment of the highland plateau and limited agricultural space in the lowlands. The former British protectorate has been heavily dependent on the country which completely surrounds it - South Africa. Over the decades' thousands of workers have been forced by the lack of job opportunities to find work in South African mines. And the Lesotho Highlands Water Project was completed in the 1990s to export water to South Africa.

THE NEXT “IT” INGREDIENT IN BEAUTY PRODUCTS IS MARIJUANA

Image
By  Noël Duan When CAP Beauty launched a new dietary supplement in August, the retailer didn’t send beauty magazine editors any promotional cupcakes or cookies. Instead, they sent pot brownies. The desserts—non-psychoactive, they didn’t get anyone high—were made with CAP’s The Daily Hit, an oil-based supplement made with the cannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD). CBD has been shown in pre-clinical studies to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits and, unlike other popular cannabinoids (like tetrahydrocannabinol, which  is  psychoactive), it’s legal in all 50 US states. As medical and recreational pot use becomes increasingly legalized in the United States, companies are beginning to experiment with the marijuana plant in the same way they would with other botanicals. Among beauty brands, CBD is becoming the next “it” ingredient incorporated into buzzy new products that hydrate skin, relieve swollen spots, and reduce under-eye bags. Experts say i...

Marijuana not an ideal anxiety treatment option

Image
Dear Dr. Roach:  I am hoping you can weigh in on the use of cannabidiol (hemp-derived) for managing anxiety. My son has diagnoses of major depression and ADD. He has done a lot of online research and is interested in using CBD to manage periods where his anxiety is elevated, as he does not like the side effects of the typical pharma meds. We were hoping you could add medical depth to CBD usage. I have had a many of these since 9/11 (I share my story on my main website http://MasteringYou.us ). I want you all to know what it looks like and how it can immobilize you. This is a full-blown Anxiety Attack. Paul Shaw Published on Apr 23, 2016   It's humbling and somewhat embarrassing to post a video at my most vulnerable. To this date, I have never watched this. However, I believe it is important for those that maybe don't suffer from anxiety to see the often DAILY struggle many go through. I've worked really hard to do what I can to alleviate my anxiety. Medicat...

Steve Kerr puts his support behind medical marijuana on ‘Open Run' podcast

Image
Steve Kerr " Warriors coach" puts his support behind medical marijuana on ‘Open Run' podcast. Why? Because he needs it now! I don't know about you all but as far as I am concerned this is how the establishment is run. They don't care about nobody but themselves. So until they need something it's off limits, but as soon as they need it they are all for it. This is a topic that been going on for ages and I know there is nothing I or you can do about it other then let off some steam, shut up, sit down and watch them play some basketball. But seriously, because he NOW has a medical condition and he WANTS to use Medical Marijuana so now he is a supporter. Really? Isn't that kind of hypercritical?  Tell you what read it for your self and you be the judge click here.

Eastern Shore to Get its First Medical Marijuana Dispensary in Salisbury

Image
Medical Marijuana Dispensary in Salisbury Now I have cousins that live in the area and I don't know if they are aware of this or even if they care but as I look at the business opportunity that lay in front of them I hope they get wise and move on this information. As far as the Eastern Shore dispensary is concerned, it's another city that is realizing the benefits of the CBD in the Marijuana plant. The Salisbury dispensary will be the only one for miles. In fact, you could drive two hours in any direction before you run into another dispensary. I hope while some people are finding the benefit from the CBD in the plant that people are also becoming aware of the potential business benefits that are sitting in their laps. You can read more about the Salisbury Dispensary by clicking here . Want to try a CBD product such as the powerful  CBD Cannabidiol   clicks here .

"Political Insiders" say it's time to legalize, not study, medical marijuana

Image
Even the Churches are getting into the Medical Marijuana industry! A Utah Church has added its voice to the legalization of Medical Marijuana. Not really! However, there are so many people in Utah that are a part of The Latter Day Saints! You may know them as The Mormons. That seems like its the church itself pushing this agenda. The article printed on October 22nd, 2017 in a Utah online Magazine called, "Political Insiders" states the people living in Utah will have a chance to vote in 2018 to legalize Medical Marijuana. This will be a first of any kind. Because the church body seems to NOT be pushing back on this topic. 'The Church' had wanted time to study the topic but the citizens of Utah are stepping out and giving the green light for the legalization of Medical Marijuana. It is unclear if any other church body will follow suit but come next year this will be a landmark topic. To read the full article click here.

MIGRAINES If you have ever had a Migraine you know that this is not a fun topic and that those of us who suffer from them really would do almost anything to get ride of them. It's why I wanted to research a little bit about this topic. Below is what I have found. Wikipedia says this about Migraines A  migraine  is a  primary headache disorder  characterized by recurrent  headaches  that are moderate to severe. [1]  Typically, the headaches affect one half of the head, are pulsating in nature, and last from two to 72 hours.
